It’s Christmas time which means that world leaders everywhere, including President Trump, are coming out with statements of hope and warmth to all the Christians out there who are celebrating the birth of Christ.
Here’s what Trump had to say.
From CBS News:
“My fellow Americans, Melania and I are delighted to wish America and the entire world a very Merry Christmas,” the president says in the video.
The first lady says that at this time of year, “we see the best of America and the soul of the American people,” and pays tribute to “our brave men and women in uniform.”
The president continues: “In the season of joy, we spend time with our families, we renew the bonds of love and goodwill between our citizens and most importantly we celebrate the miracle of Christmas. For Christians we remember the story of Jesus, Mary and Joseph that began more than 2,000 years ago. As the book of Isaiah tells us, for to us a child is born, to us a son is given and the government will be on his shoulders and he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. This good news is the greatest Christmas gift of all, the reason for our joy and the true source of our hope.”, the reason for our joy and the true source of our hope.”
Queen Elizabeth delivered a Christmas message as well and it was pretty awesome.
She pointed out one major issue that liberals aren’t going to like.
From Washington Examiner:
Queen Elizabeth reflected on the “appalling” attacks that have hit the cities of Manchester and London this year in her annual Christmas message.
“This Christmas, I think of London and Manchester whose powerful identities shone through over the past twelve months in the face of appalling attacks,” the British monarch said.
The overall theme of the message was home, and how its destruction can be catastrophic.
Unfortunately for the people of England, it’s up to people like Theresa May to handle the radical Islam problem and she doesn’t seem to be too tough in that department. We all know that the Muslim mayor in London has no interest in taking that problem seriously. England is really at a crossroads. This could go either way. Brexit was an amazing step in the right direction but they really seem to be dragging their feet. London needs to start taking their immigration problems seriously or they are going to end up not even recognizing their country like we see going on in Sweden. Scary stuff. It’s a good thing the queen is taking it seriously.
I know we aren’t supposed to be into kings and queens anymore because of that whole Revolutionary War thing but you gotta admit that Queen Elizabeth is pretty cool. She’s lived a fascinating life and it’s always a good thing when a person in a position of power calls out radical Islam.
Here’s some video of her message.
"We think of our homes as places of warmth, familiarity and love… there is a timeless simplicity to the pull of home."
